Meet Cashane Roberts: Corporate Trainer

Primetime Business Solutions is proud to introduce our incredible Corporate Trainer, Cashane Roberts. Cashane has been with the company since October of 2018, which he argues should be a company-wide holiday. This month, we had the pleasure of sitting down with him to discuss life, business, and future.

Where are you from?

“I was born in Annotto Bay, Jamaica, and raised in Portmore, Jamaica.”

What were you like as a kid?

“I was never social as a child, I would always watch how everybody acted before I spoke

to anyone. After I thought they were cool then I’d talk to them. I was pretty athletic

because I did track, but studious sums me up the best because I’m that to this day.”

Were you in any sports or extracurriculars?

“I did track in Primary School and was heavily involved in the drama club and public speaking.”

How did that competitive environment help develop you?

“It made me sharper. The fact that I was in all these clubs at the time when we all started to like girls pushed me to be the coolest guy in the room, I had to always have my game on 100 and that’s no cap.”

Did you have any idea you would end up in this field?

“I always knew I’d be successful because I know I work hard so I was focused on having a specific job. I feel like a job is a vehicle to get me where I want to be, whether it’s a

Tesla or a Lamborghini doesn’t make much of a difference. I say all of that to express that I never viewed myself as a salesman but I never thought it was something that couldn’t happen.”

Tell us about your college experience.

“I am in the Jamaican Alliance Movement at the University of South Florida. I’m not too

big on extracurriculars because I only really enjoyed being a student. I was a student assistant at USF as well.”

What is one life experience that you feel has shaped you?

“Growing up with my mom is one of the largest blessings I’ve ever had because she

showed me what hard work was. She taught me self-management, financial planning,

how to cook — just so many things that I’m so grateful for.”

What is something we might not know about you by just looking at you?

“I don’t really like talking that much. It’s funny because my job is talking to people but

when I’m home, or with friends, I’d much rather just chill out.”

When did you start with the company?

“October 2018. That should be a Primetime Business Solutions holiday though, just saying.”

What were your first thoughts when starting with the company? What was something unique you noticed?

“The first thing I was noticed was that everybody was like family. We joke with each other like brothers and that hooked me.”

What has been your best memory with the company?

“The first week I had the highest sales production in the company. I told them I was going to, but you know every GOAT has their disbelievers.”

How has this career changed you as a person?

“I learned that taking things seriously isn’t a bad thing. I’m more mature now than I was when I just started.”

What are your goals with the company?

“I plan to help the client expand into a new market by the Spring of 2020 and outperform the Tampa office month after month (haha).”

Do you have any mentors inside/outside of work?

“I view Chris, Esteban, Ant, and Watson as my mentors inside work. I know they won’t

ever point me in the wrong direction.”

Cashane, your energy is undeniable. You have been such an incredible addition to our team, and we are proud to recognize you as this month’s featured team member. Keep up the tremendous work and know that we’re rooting you on every step of the way!
